With a background in web development, Marques was ready for a new challenge but found something more—a mission to bridge the equity gap in healthcare. "Right after the pandemic, I got the call from Acclinate. Talking to Del, he shared his vision and how clinical trials could have impacted his own family. It was then I knew It wasn't just about making a profit; it was about making a difference for people like me," Marques recalls.‍ Marques' journey at Acclinate has been marked by growth, not just professionally as a software engineer but personally, witnessing the company's commitment to its mission and its people. "Seeing things we said we'd do come to fruition is incredibly validating. It's not just about hitting targets; it's about making an impact," he shares. But what makes Acclinate special for Marques goes beyond the professional milestones. It's the personal touch, the care from team members, and the genuine support for one another's growth and well-being. "It's a place where your work truly matters, where you're not just a cog in the machine but a part of a family working towards a common goal," Marques reflects. A memorable moment for Marques was running into Del at a bowling alley off the clock, where Del introduced himself not as Marques's boss but as a coworker.
